Meet Erica

Erica Ramos (she/her/ella) is a board-certified genetic counselor who has spent the last 19 years focused on the development and implementation of clinical programs and products that will accelerate the responsible adoption and integration of genomics. During her tenure at Genome Medical, she led the client work of the Advisory Services team and company-wide DEI initiatives. She joined Genome Medical from Geisinger National Precision Health, where her team focused on applying innovative, efficient, effective, and scalable approaches to testing, genetic counseling and education as critical components to the utilization of genomics throughout the lifespan. Erica was also previously Associate Director of Market Development at Illumina for Precision Health & Screening and the clinical lead for the CLIA-certified, CAP-accrediated Illumina Clinical Services Laboratory. Prior to joining Illumina, she practiced as a clinical genetic counselor for 11 years.

Erica is a nationally recognized leader in the genetic counseling community, with a focus on professional development, leadership, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice initiatives. She was the 2018 President of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and served on the All of Us Research Program Advisory Panel.

Meet Molly

Molly McGinniss (she/her) is a board-certified genetic counselor with both clinical and commercial expertise and a strong foundation in precision medicine, commercial strategy, marketing, and life sciences consulting. As a senior member of the Genome Medical Advisory Services team, Molly led comprehensive market research, financial modeling, clinical workflow optimization, IRB protocol development, and patient and provider engagement strategies to support diverse genomic initiatives with consulting partners. In addition to her client-facing work, she conducted company-wide market assessments, identified emerging customer segments, and defined strategies to engage patient advocacy organizations and expand biopharma service offerings. Molly joined Genome Medical from Illumina where she led global market development strategy for the Genetic Disease market in the areas of evidence generation, professional society and KOL engagement, and strategic partnerships to promote expansion of genome sequencing into emerging clinical markets.  She began her career as a clinical genetic counselor providing prenatal, pediatric, and adult genetic counseling services. Molly served on the Board of the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling for six years, including serving as President for consecutive terms from 2021 - 2023.
